NIAGARA - A stubborn fire at the former Niagara paper mill has been put out.
Crews battled the fire throughout the day Wednesday.
Authorities say a torch used in the demolition of the mill started the fire.
It took 50 firefighters, nine tankers, three fire trucks and over 100-thousand gallons of water to put out the blaze.
Heavy smoke and flames poured from the mill.
Several fire departments responded to the mill fire which drained the city's water supply.
