CRANDON - The Crandon duo accused of mistreating animals may find out Friday if their case is going to trial.
John and Jacqueline Johnson were first arrested in April 2011 after police took 25 dogs from their home.
They are currently facing 16 misdemeanor charges including several counts of intentionally mistreating animals and failing to provide food to an animal.
The Forest County District Attorney tells us the defense has filed a motion in this case.
The motion claims there was a lack of probable cause to justify the search of the Johnson's home.
The judge will hear testimony from at least two people Friday, including a police officer.
The Johnson's are scheduled in court for their motion hearings at 1:00 p.m.
