- The state Department of Natural Resources is warning people not to dump their used computers and televisions in the wild.
DNR officials say they're seeing more electronic waste along roadside ditches as well as in farm fields and natural areas.
They say dumping electronics is illegal, a waste of materials and could pollute the landscape and waterways.
The agency says more than 150 electronic collectors host more than 400 collection sites across the state through Wisconsin's E-Cycle program.
People can dispose of electronics at the sites for free or a nominal charge.
