Job Title: Meteorologist/Multimedia Journalist          08/09/2016
Job Duties:
WJFW is taking applications from meteorologists capable of creating and presenting forecasts and weather analysis for our regularly-scheduled newscasts, website, mobile app, social media, and radio partners.
We see our weather people as news people. Evidence that candidates are willing and able to shoot, write, and edit visual stories will be just as important as their live on-air forecasting skills when we make our offers.
We provide service to an audience used to a challenging climate. It’s the kind of place where people are constantly checking for forecast changes.
If you think you’re up to the challenge, please apply.
Applicants must have a four-year college degree in meteorology or related disciplines.
We will look at entry-level applicants. No experience necessary.
Professional on-air presence, a love for winter weather, and a true desire to live in the Northwoods of Wisconsin will be the first filters for reducing the number of candidates.
Pay Rate: Salaried position
Hours: Full-time position
Contact: WJFW is an equal opportunity employer, and we encourage women and ethnic minority applicants.
