NBC 12 Backyard BBQ
OFFICIAL RULES
No purchase necessary. Only one winner per household is allowed. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. To enter you must be 18 years of age or older. The odds of winning are determined by the number of entries.
For a complete set of rules you can log on to www.wjfw.com "Backyard BBQ" or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to "Backyard BBQ" Rules c/o NBC 12 P.O. Box 858, Rhinelander, WI 54501, or stop by the WJFW studios at 3217 County Road G, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
To enter stop by one of the following business and complete an entry form: WJFW-TV, The Pool People, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Hearth Expressions, Inc., Coon Tail Sports, and participating Trig's Grocery Stores, or mail a 3x5 card with your name, address, phone number, and age to "Backyard BBQ" c/o NBC 12 P.O. Box 858, Rhinelander, WI 54501. All mailed in entries must be postmarked no later than August 7, 2008 and all other entries will be accepted till 5:00pm Thursday August 8, 2008.
Entries will be accepted beginning on May 5, 2008 and will continue through and including August 8, 2008. The weekly cookout winners will be chosen at random beginning on Friday, May 17 with the last weekly cookout winner being chosen on Friday, August 9, 2008. Each winner will be will be contacted via telephone and must be at the WJFW Studios by 4:30p.m. on the day assigned. If winner chosen is not available for the date assigned, no other date will be given as replacement and no cash will be compensated. All Finalist winners will need to come to the Newswatch 12 Studios, during normal business hours M-F 8a-5p, present acceptable photo identification (such as a drivers license), and sign a NBC 12 (WJFW) release form to claim his/her prize within 10 business days of notification.
Each weekly cookout winner will receive the following: A cookout for the winner and 5 guests at the WJFW Studios beginning at 5p on the Wednesday following their name being drawn valued at $60. The 13 weekly winners will be entered in a random drawing that will take place on August 23, 2008 and will be eligible to win one of the following prizes: The Pool People - Dream Maker X-400 Hot Tub value $3,499, Stoney Creek Home & Garden - Tiki Bar value $5,824, Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance - 50" TV $3,800, Hearth Xpressions, Inc. Vidalia Grill $4,000, Coon Tail Sports - Hobi Kayak value $1,799, Trig's Grocery Stores - Coke for a year value $200. All Finalist winners will need to come to the Newswatch 12 Studios, during normal business hours M-F 8a-5p, present acceptable photo identification (such as a drivers license), and sign a NBC 12 (WJFW) release form to claim his/her prize within 10 business days of notification.
The Prizes have no cash equivalent. Prizes are not transferable and non exchangeable. No substitution will be made on any prize unless at the discretion of the sponsor who may substitute prizes of greater or comparable value.
Employees of NBC 12 (WJFW), The Pool People, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Hearth Xpressions, Inc., Coon Tail Sports, Trig's Grocery Stores, and, their advertising agencies, affiliates, representatives, immediate families or households and employees are ineligible to enter/win.
By participating in this contest the winner a) permits NBC 12 (WJFW), The Pool People, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Peterson Tree Service, Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Hearth Xpressions, Inc., Coon Tail Sports, and participating Trig's Grocery Stores, to make reasonable use in all media, without reimbursement, of the winner's name, likeness, biographical information, and b) releases NBC 12 (WJFW), The Pool People, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Peterson Tree Service, Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Hearth Xpressions, Inc., Coon Tail Sports, and participating Trig's Grocery Stores, their partners and affiliates, related companies, successors, assigns, officers, directors, stockholders, and employees, and participating sponsors, and their agencies and suppliers, from any and all claims, liabilities, and damages arising directly or indirectly out of the award or use of the prize.
All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. All decisions of NBC 12 (WJFW) are final.
