NEWSWATCH 12 2009 BACKYARD BBQ
OFFICIAL RULES
No purchase necessary. Only one winner per household is allowed. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. To enter you must be 18 years of age or older. The odds of winning are determined by the number of entries.
For a complete set of rules you can log on to www.wjfw.com "Backyard BBQ" or send a self-addressed stamped envelope to "Backyard BBQ" Rules c/o Newswatch 12 P.O. Box 858, Rhinelander, WI 54501, or stop by the WJFW studios at 3217 County Road G, Rhinelander, WI 54501.
Entries will be accepted beginning on May 4, 2009. To enter stop by one of the following business and complete an entry form: Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, The Pool People, Coon Tail Sports, Boulder Marine Center, participating Trig's Grocery Stores, and the WJFW Studios or mail a 3x5 card with your name, address, phone number, and age to "Backyard BBQ" c/o Newswatch 12 P.O. Box 858, Rhinelander, WI 54501. All mailed in entries must be postmarked no later than August 5, 2009 and all other entries will be accepted till 5:00pm Thursday August 6, 2009.
The weekly cookout winners will be chosen at random beginning on Friday, May 15, 2009 with the last weekly cookout winner being chosen on Friday, August 7, 2009. Each winner will be will be contacted via telephone. The winner and up to five (5) guests will need to be at the WJFW Studios by 4:30p.m. the upcoming Wednesday. If the winner chosen is not available for the date assigned, no other date will be given as replacement and no cash will be compensated and another winner will be chosen.
Each weekly cookout winner will receive the following: A cookout for the winner and up to five (5) guests at the WJFW Studios beginning at 4:30p.m. the Wednesday following their name being drawn valued at $100. On August 15, 2009 six (6) names will be chosen at random from the thirteen (13) weekly winners to win one of the following prizes: Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance - Solaire Grill #AGBQ-42CIR valued at $6,125, Stoney Creek Home & Garden - a Teak Patio Set valued at $5,000, The Pool People - a Homecrest Ducks Unlimited Teak Edition Patio Set valued at $3030, Boulder Marine Center - a 2 Horsepower Honda Outboard Portable Motor #BF2DKSCH valued at $1,200, Coontail Sports - a Pungo 100 Kayak from Wilderness Systems valued at $625. All winners will receive a letter within 10 business days of the contest from WJFW with instructions on how to get their prize.
The Prizes have no cash equivalent. Prizes are not transferable and non exchangeable. No substitution will be made on any prize unless at the discretion of the sponsor who may substitute prizes of greater or comparable value.
Employees of Newswatch 12 (WJFW-TV), Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Peterson Tree Service, The Pool People, Coontail Sports, Boulder Marine Center, Trig's Grocery Stores and, their advertising agencies, affiliates, representatives, immediate families or households and employees are ineligible to enter/win.
By participating in this contest the winner a) permits Newswatch 12 (WJFW-TV), Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Peterson Tree Service, The Pool People, Coontail Sports, Boulder Marine Center, Trig's Grocery Stores to make reasonable use in all media, without reimbursement, of the winner's name, likeness, biographical information, and b) releases Newswatch 12 (WJFW-TV), Jensen-Akins Hardware & Appliance, Stoney Creek Home & Garden, Stoney Creek Landscaping, Peterson Tree Service, The Pool People, Coontail Sports, Boulder Marine Center, Trig's Grocery Stores, their partners and affiliates, related companies, successors, assigns, officers, directors, stockholders, and employees, and participating sponsors, and their agencies and suppliers, from any and all claims, liabilities, and damages arising directly or indirectly out of the award or use of the prize.
